Hans-Joachim Hahn, Staatsexamen (Teaching), born in 1950, studied English and Physical Education, writing his examination thesis on „The Quest of Man's Identity in Modern English Drama“ at Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen, Germany. Before and during his studies, he was involved in Christian youth ministry. After completing his exams within his high school teaching credential, he turned to adult education in a non-profit organisation ( Campus fuer Christus, Germany) with an initial focus on university students.
From 1984 until 1989, he served as their national director; after that as coordinator of the student ministry of Agape Europe until 1996. In 1996, Hans-Joachim Han initiared the Professors' Forum; he has since been the coordinator of this forum, connecting more than 700 scholars and researchers in Germany and worldwide. This Forum cultivates academic discussion among the various faculties on questions of worldview, values, and science, based on the Judeo-Christian tradition. The search for truth, respect and tolerance of controversial opinions are its major guidelines.
From 1996 to 2006, H.-J. Hahn also worked with a number of national and international companies in sales and building sales teams. He is an internationally requested speaker on the subject of ethical values in business and society.
He is a visiting lecturer on business ethics at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, and the College of Hotel and Tourism Management in Meran; he is a professional member of the German Speakers´ Association (GSA) a freelance interpreter on stage for keynote speakers.
Hans-Joachim Hahn has authored two books, and co-editor of the publications of the Professors' Forum.
He has been married to Dorothee since 1982; they raised two adopted children.
